Definition

Information objects of the following classes are stored in the Management area:

Navigation structures are used to combine and impose a hierarchical structure on a set of folders. Different Knowledge Warehouse user groups can thus be presented with different content hierarchies tailored to their specific needs.

Topics are content objects that can be inserted in navigation structures as a short description of a subhierarchy. The source format (i.e. editing format) for topics is MS Word (DOC). The presentation format is HTML.

Multimedia objects created with any MS Windows application can also be inserted in navigation structures.

The other info object classes Macros and similar ( IWB0MACRO ), Language-independent miscellaneous ( IWB0MSC ) and Language-specific miscellaneous ( IWB0MSL ) are used for storing macros and templates used for creating contents in the Training and Documentation areas.
