Definition

The following info object classes can be used for creating training material:

Structures are used here too to combine content objects into a hierarchically organized table of contents in which the user can navigate. Structures are not language-specific.

Slides are the main type of content objects used in training courses. The source format (i.e. editing format) for slides is MS PowerPoint (PPT). The presentation format is HTML. The contents of a slide are categorized with the Content type attribute.

Texts are content objects that contain exercises and solutions in training courses. The source format (i.e. editing format) for text is MS Word (DOC). The presentation format is HTML. The contents of texts are categorized with the Content type attribute.

Multimedia objects are all the remaining content objects in training courses that are neither slides nor text. Typically they comprise Lotus ScreenCams, Videos and other multimedia objects. Multimedia objects can be created and edited with any MS Windows application whose format is registered as a valid format for this object class in the Knowledge Warehouse. The source and presentation format of multimedia objects is the same. The editor (or a dedicated viewer) is also used for the presentation.
