Structures are used to combine content objects into a hierarchically organized table of contents in which the user can navigate. They are displayed in the Browser in the frame for tables of contents (TOC Frame). Structures are not language-specific.

Topics are the only type of content object in the Documentation area. The source format (i.e. editing format) for topics is MS Word (DOC). The presentation format is HTML. The contents of a topic are categorized with the Content type attribute.
