Reconstruction of Availability Control
Use
Using this function you can reconstruct or reinitialize Funds Management posting data (consumable budget and consumed amounts) updated in the availability control ledger (AVC ledger).
The re-initialization of availability control is divided into two steps:
It is necessary to reconstruct a AVC ledger if you change the Customizing settings for availability control. This is usually the case if you want to use a new AVC ledger or have changed the filter settings of the budget values or the account assignment derivation of control objects.
Features
Note that if you reconstruct a AVC ledger it can result in a data transfer between Funds Management and the Special Ledger. You can influence the program run using the appropriate settings.
Restricting the Volume of Data
The volume of data updated from Funds Management can be restricted by only carrying out the program run for the AVC ledgers affected and/or by defining the data records (consumable budget or consumed amounts) to be re-initialized.
Parallel Processing with a Number of Application Servers
You maximize performance by transferring data using servers working in parallel.
For more information on parallel processing, see:

Activities
You reconstruct availability control in the Funds Management menu under Budgeting ® Budget Control System (BCS) ® Tools ® Reconstruct Availability Control.
For more information, see the program documentation.
