Purpose

You create a feedback template to determine how test feedback should appear to the test participant upon completion of the test. You can create your own feedback templates or you can use one of two standard feedback templates ( Feedback Template A and Feedback Template B) in the Performance Assessment Workbench (PAW).

The standard templates are divided into several areas. Each of these areas contains certain placeholders which are replaced by values in the completed test after the initial test evaluation in the PAW Player. You can delete the placeholders in the template if you do not want the feedback to include a particular value. For more information about the placeholder values, see Test Feedback Placeholders.

Process Flow

  1. You use one of the standard templates to create feedback for a test or you create your own feedback template. You create the feedback as a Microsoft Word document.
  2. You create the feedback info object in the Knowledge Warehouse Explorer and assign info class KWPWFTE to it.
  3. You assign the feedback info object to a test as an attribute of the test. The content of the feedback is ultimately determined by the settings in the test attributes. For more information, see Test Attributes.

Result

When the test participant completes the test to which you assigned the feedback info object, the participant can view the feedback you specified.
