Searching for Generation Variants 
On the Product Safety screen, choose Reports ®
Edit generation variants or Display generation variants.
The initial screen appears. You can start drilldown reporting from here. During the search, all entries are linked with AND.
Enter the data known to you. The SAP System supports a double-sided generic search (<*K15*>) in the Generation variant and Template/version fields.
- The system does not differentiate between lower case and upper case during search runs.
- The system takes special characters into account: underscores, hyphens, commas, periods, blanks, parentheses, and so on.

Result
In the hit list, the SAP System lists the generation variants that correspond to the search criteria.

If the SAP System does not find the required generation variant, you can enter new search criteria or create the generation variant yourself.
