Taking Validity Areas into Account When Generating Reports
When selecting characteristic values, the validity area of both the specification and the generation variant in the corresponding countries and regions is expanded.
So that a characteristic value can be selected, all countries and regions of the generation variant must also be edited in the specification. The number of the countries and regions specified for the generation variant must be the same or less than the number specified for the specification.

If no region has been assigned to a country in a validity area, the SAP System treats the validity area as if all regions had been assigned to it.
If the validity area specified is REG_WORLD, the SAP System automatically uses all countries entered in the IMG activity Specify Validity Areas in Customizing for Product Safety.
