Assigning Phrase Sets to Attributes

Prerequisites

See Phrase Set-to-Attribute Assignment.

Procedure

Choose one of the following:

In the phrase set header, from phrase set names, phrase assignment, or from the phrase set hit list, choose Utilities ® Attribute assignment.

In the Product Safety menu or in Dangerous Goods Management choose Phrases ® Edit phrase set-attribute assignment.

The property tree appears.

Double-click the required value assignment type or table that contains the required field.

The SAP System lists all characteristics of the value assignment type or all relevant fields of the table.

Note

You can use the value assignment type - characteristic matchup function from master data matchup on this screen as well. Choose the function if you want to update the display of the characteristics.

Enter the key for the required phrase set in the Phrase set field for a characteristic or field.

Note

In addition, you can assign a user-defined text type to each characteristic if you have set the characteristic-dependent indicator for the user-defined text type in Customizing for Product Safety (see User-Defined Texts and Documents).
