Use

This function enables you to clearly identify a specification using various identifiers. An identifier is defined in the following way:

Identification Category

Name

IUPAC name, product name, synonym, trivial name, trade name, and so on

Number

CAS number (Chemical Abstract Service), EINECS (European Inventory of Existing Commercial Chemical Substances), ELINCS (European List of New Chemicals), UN number (UN list for dangerous goods transports), and so on

Chemical formula

Empirical formula, rational formula (a chemical formula structured according to chemical function units), and so on

You can format your text. When the text is printed out on a report, all formatting (character formats, paragraph formats, and so on) is retained. The prerequisite for this is that the environment parameter LONGTEXT_FORMAT_SUPPORT must be set in Customizing for Product Safety.
