Slovakia 

Purpose

This country version is designed for use by businesses with operations in Slovakia. As well as the generic SAP R/3 functions, it comprises functions designed for laws and business practices particular to Slovakia, and a country template to help you customize the system according to local requirements.

This documentation explains how the country-specific functions work and what Customizing settings are made by the country template. It does not cover the generic functions, which are described in the rest of the SAP Library.

Country-Specific Functions

Country Version Slovakia comes with additional functions for Financials and Logistics:

·        In Financial Accounting (FI), you can handle deferred taxes and prepare financial statements according to Slovak requirements. A sample chart of accounts, based on Slovak law, is supplied. Additional functions are also delivered for Asset Accounting (FI-AA) and Cash Journal.

·        In Materials Management (MM) and Sales and Distribution (SD), you can also handle taxes as per Slovak requirements.

Country Template

To allow you to customize your Slovak company codes more quickly, you can use the Slovak country template in the Country Installation Program.
