Use

A performance unit container is an information object that establishes a link between items and a performance unit. A performance unit container is technically a structure referencing all of the items that represent the performance unit.

Procedure

  1. Choose Info Object ® New ® Structure Object… to open the Create New Structure Object wizard.
  2. Choose Performance Unit Container as the information category and then choose Next.
  3. Choose a root info object as follows:
    1. Choose Create New >>> if you want to create a new performance unit to be used as the root object.

The Create New Info Object wizard appears in which you can create the performance unit.

OR

    1. Choose Select Info Object >>> to choose an existing performance unit.
    2. The Locate Info Object dialog box appears.

    3. Choose the method you want to use to search for the object and then choose Continue.
    4. Specify additional search criteria on the dialog box that appears and then start the search.
    5. Choose the performance unit you want from the search results and then choose OK.
  1. Enter the technical name and title as well as all attribute values for the structure object to be created. Important: The attribute usage must be set to level 1!
  2. After you have entered the detailed attributes, choose Finish.

The wizard closes and the structure info object is created.

Result

Once the structure object is created, you can open the structure editor to insert the necessary info objects.
