The OIW Frontend for Excel consists of:

• the Excel add-in SAPOIW.XLA

• the ActiveX component WDLOIW.OCX (i.e. the SAP OIW Browser control)

• the SAP Table View control WDTVOCX.OCX

• the SAP Tree View control WDTTREE.OCX

• the SAP Logon control WDTLOG.OCX

Both parts of the OIW frontend, as well as the Table Generator and the Logon control require:

• the dynamic-link library VRFC32.DLL, which in turn requires

• the dynamic-link library LIBRFC32.DLL.

Furthermore, the Table View control requires:

• the dynamic-link libraries VTSSDL32.DLL and VTSSM32.DLL

The OIW Browser control requires the (Microsoft) system DLLs:

• URLMON.DLL

• WININET.DLL

Generally, to register OCXs which are based on the Microsoft Foundation Classes, the following (Microsoft) system DLLs are needed on the PC:

• MSVCRT40.DLL (as of 3.1G, MSVCRT.DLL and MSVCIRT.DLL are required instead)

• MFC40.DLL (as of 3.1G, MFC42.DLL is required instead)

• OLEPRO32.DLL

It is highly probable that these DLLs are present on your PC anyway. If they are not, they will be created along with any SAPGUI component’s installation via SAPsetup.
