All the contents managed in the Knowledge Warehouse are stored there as information objects.

Using structures, a special kind of information object, and hyperlinks you can assemble information objects in multimedia hyperdocuments, for example, in training courses.

Information objects with a common subject domain are collected and managed in folders.

Information objects and folders belong to one of the following Areas:

• Training
• Documentation
• Intranet Management
• Management

The different areas in the Knowledge Warehouse denote the purpose for which the contents are used. Generally, information objects within an area can be linked with each other using hyperlinks and structures, but information objects of different areas cannot be linked. There is one exception to this rule: You can link from training objects to documentation objects.
