Procedure

  1. Choose Logistics ® Production - process ® Process order and then Tools ® Archive ® Process order.
  2. The initial screen for archiving process orders appears.

  3. Choose Archiving.

Caution

If, in a previous archiving run, the deletion program was not executed automatically, you may run into the danger of archiving the same process orders more than once. The system therefore lists all archive runs whose data has yet to be deleted before it lets you start another archive run.

  1. Enter a variant.

Note

You can use an existing variant only if it is not being locked by another archiving job.

To create a new variant, enter a name for the variant and choose Maintain.

The variant maintenance screen for archiving orders appears. The variant contains the selection criteria that the system uses to determine which data is archived.

  1. Enter your selection criteria.
  2. Maintain the following options:

Choose Continue.

  1. Enter the start date.
  2. Enter the spool parameters.
  3. Choose Execute.

The archive files are created for the start date in the background.

Note

If the Execute automat. indicator is set for the deletion program in Structure link Archive Customizing the system automatically starts the deletion program after the first archive file is created.
