When a service master record is archived, the system checks whether it has a Deletion indicator.

It also checks whether or not the master record is still used in the system. Criteria for establishing this are as follows:

• Condition records exist for the master record.
• The master record is used as a higher-level service in other master records.
• The master record is used in a set of service specifications.
