Use

There are several different functions included under Consistency check. These functions check the system settings and any definitions that have been made.

Consistency check for tasks

Diagnosis reports are available as a result of the following checks:

Consistency check for standard tasks
Consistency check for workflow templates

Diagnosis reports display the check results for the individual tasks using different colored traffic lights to indicate the severity of the errors diagnosed.

Every error that occurs has a description.

Displaying the organizational assignment of single-step tasks and work items

Information about the completeness of the definition and about the organizational assignment of work items at runtime can be displayed for a particular task. The display includes:

Whether the possible agents have been specified in the definition of the single step task.

All work items that exist as the runtime representations of a specific task with their actual agent assignment.

Consistency check for linkages

You use this function to check all existing linkages in the system. You can define the extent of the check on the screen Consistency checks for event linkages. If you activate Optimization when the workflow is being executed, superfluous linkages are deleted from the system.

The list displays all problematic linkages. As far as possible, these problems are resolved automatically.

Then select one of the checks above and, if applicable, restrict the tasks to be checked.

Choose Program ® Execute to start the check.
