The valid statuses for missed deadline work items are listed in the following table:

Work item status

Description

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Ready

The work item appears in the Business Workplace of the recipients.

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text In process

One of the recipients is executing the work item

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Completed

The execution of the work item is completed.

Work items in the completed status are not displayed in the workflow inbox of the Business Workplace.
