Definition

Use this infotype to manage data related to seniority pay scale jumps for each employee.

Use

The information included in this infotype is used by the system during the payroll run. That is, the data entered in this infotype enables the system to recognize the terms concerning the seniority pay scale jumps to be applied to each employee during the payroll run.

Some information contained in this infotype is also useful for statistical purposes.

Structure

Infotype 0159 is made up of the following fields:

In this field, you enter the indicator related to the type of contract to which the pay scale jump refers, for example «metalworker».

This date is automatically updated by the system when the employee accrues a seniority pay scale jump.

A monthly report automatically updates this date if the employee is no longer entitled to the remuneration and thus does not accrue the pay scale jump (for example, for absence due to military service).

These fields calculate the number or percentage of the pay scale jumps accrued by the employee up to that date.

These fields are managed for the metal and textile worker contracts in order to define blocked pay scale jumps (or their relevant percentage) accrued up to a certain date established by the various Collective Labor Agreements.

Maintain this field for metalworker contracts. It includes the number of pay scale jumps accrued since 01.01.1980 and valuated on a standard basis.

In case of part-time remuneration, the system processes the pay scale jump amounts accrued according to the percentage of part-time work done (or divided by 24).

This pay scale jump is updated on a monthly basis and is reset when the new pay scale jump is accrued.

The service class refers to an allowance to which only insurance industry employees are entitled.

This allowance depends on the level, service and seniority of an employee.

The possible input values range from 1 to 8 according to the years of service in the same class.

The possible changes from one class to the next are calculated automatically by the system, using the data posted in table T5ITS7.

Integration

Use this infotype to determine the values – for some fields – copied from the data entered in infotypes Organizational Assignment (0001) and Personal Data (0002).

Wage types, as well as pay scale jump accrual data must be entered and assigned a value in infotype Basic pay (0008), while in this infotype you post the information on the seniority situation for pay scale jumps. The calculation report allows you to choose to update both infotypes or either of them.

While the data is being entered in this infotype, the system checks the procedure specified by means of Implementation Guide settings.
