
Account Assignment (Organizational Unit)
Definition
Specification of a controlling area, master cost center, company code, business area, personnel area and personnel subarea for an organizational unit.
Use
You specify the account assignment features of an organizational unit. Inheritance occurs as follows:
Structure
You can assign a controlling area to an organizational unit.
You can assign a cost center to an organizational unit. This forms the basis for
Cost Distribution. The cost center can only be maintained in the Organization and Staffing view if integration with the
Enterprise Organization is not activated.
You can assign a company code to an organizational unit.
You can assign a business area to an organizational unit.
You can assign a personnel area to an organizational unit.
You can assign a personnel subarea to an organizational unit.
Integration
Data on the controlling area, cost center, company code, business area, personnel area and personnel subarea is inherited by subordinate positions and organizational units, as long as they have no direct assignment of their own.
Data on the controlling area, company code, business area, personnel area and personnel subarea are used as default values in Personnel Administration.
Data on the cost center is transferred to Personnel Administration in infotype 0001.
Whether the cost center can be maintained in the Organization and Staffing view depends on whether integration with the
Enterprise Organization is activated or deactivated.The fields on this tab page are integrated with infotypes from the Organizational Management
