Starting Scheduling in the Current Cycle
Use
You can start scheduling a testing schedule in the current cycle. You may want to do this under the following circumstances:
Procedure
The initial screen for scheduling a maintenance plan (testing schedule) appears.
The screen for scheduling the maintenance plan appears.
A dialog box may appear in which you are asked whether you want to skip or delete the calls with the status Waiting.
Another dialog box for entering a start date is displayed.
The Package Sequence screen is displayed showing the strategy that is assigned to the maintenance plan in graphical form.
The system marks the new start offset with a call symbol. Scheduling begins with the package after the start offset.
The system reschedules all packages that follow the selected package.

If a date, which lies after the chosen completion date, was already called before you executed the start-in-cycle function, two calls will now exist for this date in the testing schedule. You must therefore cancel the extra, unneeded inspection lot for this date. Only one uncancelled inspection lot should exist for each storage condition and test date. By cancelling the unneeded inspection lot, the system informs the scheduling function that no confirmation will posted for this lot. This inspection lot is considered to be completed.
