Recording and Displaying of Inspection Results

If you are maintaining a PI sheet,...

... and the Record inspection results pushbutton is displayed on the overview screen, you can branch to the QM module to record inspection results for the operations and phases specified in the corresponding process instruction; see Recording Inspection Results.

The inspection characteristics assigned to these operations or phases in the master recipe are automatically offered for maintenance.

The QM function for results recording can only be accessed from within the PI sheet, if an inspection lot with the corresponding inspection characteristics exists for the process order. For more information about inspection lots for process orders, see Inspection lots/Inspection characteristics in the process order documentation.

If you are processing a PI sheet that has been created for test purposes, the system will access the QM function in the display mode.

... you can call up the recorded inspection results, by choosing Display inspection results; see Displaying Inspection Results.
