Meaning | |
Test service |
Default Web server |
The name of the default Web server and the path used to start services in the current SAP System. The name for the server is entered in the Customizing table TWPURLSVR (transaction SM30). If there is no entry for this setting, the corresponding entry was not yet entered in SM30. In this case, you should inform your system administrator (unless you have authorization to maintain the table yourself). |
Other ITS Web server |
You can enter the name of any other Web server on which you want to run services. To start an Internet service you need the corresponding server and path definition as well as the service name. http://<Server>/<Pfad>/<service>/! If you want to generate an HTTPS URL, you should mark the field Use HTTPS. Note, however, the assignment of the web server to an SAP System. If you specify a web server belonging to the ITS instance of a different SAP System, the service will be started on a different SAP System to the one from which it was published.
Publish |
On all defined sites |
The service is published on all ITS instances assigned to the SAP System. The message that follows successful publication is only displayed if the service could be published successfully on all ITS instances. Errors occurring on any instance are logged. Normally, this setting should no longer be used. |
On selected site |
From the dropdown box, choose a single ITS on which you want to publish the service. The name of the ITS instance is derived from the RFC destination details as maintained in transaction SM30. If the list box contains no entries, no destinations have been created. To maintain destinations, start transaction SM30, enter the view IACORDES and create the RFC destination.
In local directory |
You can also publish an Internet service in your local file directory. This directory can be used as temporary storage for the files. |
