Effectivity Parameters in the Filter

Use

You enter values for the effectivity parameters in order to filter the nodes and their structures that are displayed in the navigation tree and, if required, the nodes displayed on the Variants tab page in the iPPE workbench.

Integration

You can select effectivity parameters from those created for iPPE in Customizing for Engineering Change Management. You can define additional effectivity parameters, but these are not considered in the iPPE workbench.

Features

You have the following options for controlling the display:

Entries for the plant and usage.
You can select certain objects by entering the class, class type, plant, material, start-up parameters, scope, date and serial number.

Actions

Choose

Filter.

The header data and tab pages for the filter are displayed in the detail area.

Enter an existing filter or create a new one.

Choose the Effectivity Variant tab page.

Set the Parameter Effectiv. indicator on the Effecticity Variant tab page.

The Effectivity Parameters screen area is displayed.

Enter the relevant data and choose .
