User Profile in iPPE

Use

The iPPE application covers several areas of master data maintenance, which means that users can create and edit a large amount of different data. User profiles in iPPE preselect and restrict the quantity of data available for predefined work areas in iPPE, making it easier to work with the data.

Features

You can create new user profiles and copy existing profiles.

You can edit the detailed settings for the standard iPPE user profiles and for those that you define yourself.

You can assign one or more user profiles to individual users.

Actions

In Customizing for Production, you can create new user profiles or copy existing ones by choosing Basic Data ® Integrated Product and Process Engineering ® iPPE Interface Administration ® iPPE User Profile Administration ® Define iPPE User Profiles.

In Customizing for Production, you can assign one or more user profiles to a user by choosing Basic Data ® Integrated Product and Process Engineering ® iPPE Interface Administration ® iPPE User Profile Administration ® iPPE User Assignment.
