Definition

Infotype 0155 includes administrative information used in different steps of the Italian payroll run, which is not contained in other infotypes.

Use

It is updated when the employee is hired and when the work relationship terminates, since it contains information related to severance pay handling as well as to settlement and provisions.

The system does not take into account the periods in which the work relationship is not regarded as active (e.g. due to a career break) for seniority calculation for severance pay purposes.

The dates in this infotype must be handled manually ("Conventional Seniority").

The field values of this infotype are read in the month when the severance indemnity is paid and reduce abatements depending on the value. Months/years are subtracted from the number of months/years calculated using the standard procedure.

Structure

Infotype Additional Administrative Data is made up of basic data as well as the following field groups:

Settlement Indicator: This field indicates whether the employee is entitled to year-end settlement as an active employee (in which case the employee has indicator 01), as a terminated employee or whether he is not entitled at all.

Provision Indicator: This indicator is assigned according to the employee’s entitlement to provisions (01 for an active employee). The employee’s entitlement to provisions varies depending on the employee’s group: for example, provisions of an employee doing military service are not accrued (indicator 04).

If the provision indicator associated with the employee via this infotype causes pay scale jump accrual to be stopped, the system will put off the date of the next pay scale jump to the next month.

Severance Pay Provision: Indicator 01 is assigned to active employees. By entering this indicator, the system will accrue the severance pay amount. A different indicator is assigned to employees who have left (currently 02). With this indicator the system no longer accrues the severance pay but settles the severance pay amount accrued up to the leaving date.

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

Example: If the employee leaves in March and the severance pay is paid in June, the payroll run will be blocked via infotype 0003 in April and May. The provision for those months is = 0 because days of work are 0.

Retroactive Calculation Type: This indicator identifies the type of retroactive calculation to be used. Currently you can choose from the two retroactive calculation types defined in this infotype (individual - statutory). It is important to restrict the record of this infotype to the period retroactive calculation is to begin from (inperiod).

Example

Example: if we are in February (inperiod) and retroactive calculation is required for January (forperiod), the date on infotype 0155 must be 01.02 - 28.02.

The retroactive calculation period is specified in infotype 0003 (see Integration).

Seniority Conventional Date: For taxable amount definition purposes, this data defines the date on which the employee’s severance pay started to accrue (or will start to accrue in case of first employment).

Example

Example: the employee was hired on 01.01.2000 but the conventional date is 01.06.1985, which is the date on which he started to accrue the severance pay provision with a previous employer.

Note

Note: up to the year 2000, each severance indemnity year accrued entitled the employee to a 600,000 ITL reduction on the tax base. As of 2001, this law was changed and the reduction became a yearly deduction.

Holiday Conventional Date: This data is also used for sickness leave calculation, since sickness treatment leave depends, amongst other things, on the employee’s seniority (brackets).

Severance Indemnity Conventional Seniority: These two fields (months and years) express the same concept (in months and years) as the conventional date.

Note

Note: these two fields can be handled as an alternative to conventional date management.

Integration

Infotype 0003 contains the date of the period to be calculated retroactively.

Example

Example: Going back to the previous example, in infotype 0003 the retroactive calculation date will be 01.01 - 31.01.
