Providing Components 
Prerequisites
If you want to assign a material component as a part-to-be- provided to an operation, you
- choose a control key that allows external processing
- set the Subcontracting indicator in the purchasing data for the operation.
Procedure
In the operation overview choose Goto
®
CompAlloc. gen.The Material Component Overview screen appears
Select the BOM item that you want to provide and choose Edit
®
New Assignment.
The New Assignment screen appears.
Enter the operation that the component is to be provided for and choose Continue.
You return to the Material Component Overview screen
Save you routing.
