Workers’ Compensation Association (Infotype 0029)

Workers’ Compensation Association Data

The workers’ compensation association is the statutory insurer for accident insurance. Every company belonging to this industry branch is a member of the association. The company has to pay a contribution to the association for every insured person.

The association divides the company ’ s jobs into areas, such as hazard pay positions. It then assigns these jobs a hazard class. These hazard classes are revised every 5 years.

The hazard pay jobs and the hazard classes are used to calculate the company’s contribution. The company must provide the association with a list of the number of insured persons for each hazard pay job, on an annual basis, together with the annual gross pay (Workers ’ Compensation Association List or Wage statement).

The workers’ compensation association report displays an error list if:

There is no data record for an employee in the Workers’ Compensation (0029) infotype for the respective fiscal year

An employee’s workers’ compensation association gross pay is higher that the association’s pay ceiling

If you want to suppress this note, you can enter this person as an exception. Do this in the Statistics (0033) infotype, Subtype 1, Workers’ Compensation Association (03), not relevant for WCA (0001). When doing this, check the validity period.
