Use
You use the Propose rows function to fill the lead columns in the planning layout with characteristic values from the master data.
Features
The system checks whether the combination of characteristic values is valid for the organizational units. If the Check derivation indicator is active in the plan version, the system also runs a check as to the compatibility with characteristic derivation when the valid characteristic values are determined. For example, only those products belonging the product group in the general data selection appear in this case.
If you execute this function for characteristics with a large amount of values (such as the characteristics customer or product), the selection may take a very long time. In some cases, a timeout might even occur.
