Use

This report can be used to issue the monthly document containing all employee admissions and severance according to the CLT system (Consolidated Labor Laws) of your company. The records in this document form the Current and Former Employee Roll (CAGED).

CAGED data is used by the government Unemployment Allowance program to check data of employees dismissed from their job, before releasing the benefit. The federal government also uses the data in CAGED to undertake research and prepare statistics relating to job policy and the labor market.

Federal authorities permit the data to be supplied on diskette or a standard form (aerogram). Submitting a diskette must be accompanied by the Diskette Receipt Slip.

Features

This report generates a TemSe file to issue monthly data on diskette for the Current and Former Employees Roll (CAGED) by reading employee data contained in various infotypes, such as, for instance, those with numbers 0000, 0001, 0008, 0016 and 0185.

Activities

  1. Choose the menu option Human resources ® Payroll ® America ® Brazil
  2. Subsequent Activities ® Monthly.
  3. Select Analysis ® Current and Former Employees Roll.
  4. The selection screen of the HBRCAGED report is accessed and you must complete the fields with the requested data.
  5. The following must be indicated on the selection screen:
    1. Occupation status - define whether the employee is or is not working for the company
    2. Company code data
    3. Month to which the stored data refers
    4. Type of statement – state if this is or is not the first time the company declares
    5. File amendment - inform changes in the corporate data
    6. Storage mode – indicate the type of media in which the file is generated

When running the report, the TemSe file is generated for the selected employees and period. If no error is found, you can export the generated data to a local file and save it later on diskette.

Note

If you leave the personnel number selection option blank, all personnel numbers are processed by the system.
