Whenever an access sequence is used in the following example, this access sequence is understood to access a condition table whose key is defined by the characteristic Material group.

(a) Reference base

Condition category K (Base amount)

Calculation type B (Fixed amount)

Condition class B (Prices)

Scale basis -

Access sequence None

This type of condition is a base condition for revenues from SD. Distribution (SD). This condition type can be used in a costing sheet to calculate additions or deductions depending on the revenue.

(b) Prices from the material master

Condition category S (Standard price)

Calculation type C (Quantity-based)

Condition class B (Prices)

Scale basis -

Access sequence None

The standard price is read from the material master. For example, suppose that the standard price for material "M099312" is USD 100.00 a piece. If you have sold 5 units of this material, the condition takes on the value USD 500.00.

(c) Cash discounts from customer master

Condition category E (Cash discount)

Calculation type A (Percentage)

Condition class A (Deductions/additions)

Scale basis -

Access sequence None

The percentage for the cash discount is read from the terms of payment in the customer master. If the payment terms provide for a cash discount of 3% for a payment within 14 days, the percentage is determined as 3%.

(da) Percentage addition/deduction (not scaled)

Condition category -

Calculation type A (Percentage)

Condition class A (Deductions/additions)

Scale basis -

Access sequence Yes

For material groups "312", "313" and "314", you can maintain the following condition records:

Material group

Amount

Unit

312

1

% (set by the system)

313

2

%

314

1.5

%

These condition records can be used, for example, to calculate the expected outgoing freight.

(db) Percentage addition/deduction (scaled)

Condition category -

Calculation type A (Percentage)

Condition class A (Deductions/additions)

Scale basis B (Scaled by value)

Access sequence Yes

For material group "312", you can define the following value scale:

From value

Scale currency

Amount

Unit

10,000

USD

3

%

50,000

USD

3.5

%

This lets you define the expected sales commission depending on the revenue generated.

(dc) Percentage addition/deduction (scaled by quantity)

For material group "312", you can define the following quantity scale:

Condition category -

Calculation type A (Percentage)

Condition class A (Deductions/additions)

Scale basis C (Quantity-based)

Access sequence Yes

From quantity

Unit

Amount

Unit

1000

Boxes

1

%

5000

Boxes

2

%

This lets you define expected discounts depending on the quantity sold.

(ea) Quantity-based addition/deduction (not scaled)

Condition category -

Calculation type C (Quantity-based)

Condition class A (Deductions/additions)

Scale basis -

Access sequence Yes

For material group "312", you can define the following condition record:

Material group

Amount

Unit

per

Unit

312

1

USD

1

Boxes

This lets you assess, for example, USD 1 per box for packaging material.

(eb) Quantity-based addition/deduction (scaled)

Condition category -

Calculation type C (Quantity-based)

Condition class A (Deductions/additions)

Scale basis B (Scaled by value)

Access sequence Yes

For material group "312", you can define the following value scale:

From value

Scale currency

Amount

Unit

per

Unit

100

USD

0.10

(ec) Quantity-based addition/deduction (scaled by quantity)

Condition category -

Calculation type C (Quantity-based)

Condition class A (Deductions/additions)

Scale basis C (Quantity-based)

Access sequence Yes

For material group "312", you can define the following quantity scale:

From quantity

Unit

Amount

(fa) Fixed amount (not scaled)

Condition category -

Calculation type B (Fixed amount)

Condition class B (Prices)

Scale basis -

Access sequence Yes

For material group "312", you can define the following condition record:

Material group

Amount
