Use

You can only enter other flows for the incoming and outgoing flows.

Prerequisites

The valid update types must have been assigned to the usage Exercise rights in Customizing. You do this under Assign Update Types to Usages.

Procedure

  1. Select the incoming/outgoing flow for which you want to enter another flow.
  2. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (Insert line) in the Other flows area. The Create Other Flow dialog box appears.
  3. The exchange rates area displays the rate(s) which is/are used to translate the amounts to settlement currency, position currency and local currency. The rates are taken from exchange rate table. Here, you can define another rate manually provided that the rate was not fixed.

    1. Choose one of the existing flow types.
    2. Enter the amount and the currency of the flow by choosing Amount in settlement currency. You are free to choose the settlement currency, which can differ both from the position currency and the local currency.
  4. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text . The amounts are calculated in position currency and local currency.
  5. Choose Copy to save the other flow.
  6. If want to delete the other flow you have entered, select the other flow and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text(Delete line).

Result

The other flows are entered and stored according to your entries.
