You can display the release status of an external purchasing document or purchase requisition, or all items of a requisition in an overview and thus see whether the relevant document or item has been released or is blocked, etc.

To display details pertaining to the release of an external purchasing document or an item of a purchase requisition, proceed as follows:

1. Display the desired purchasing document.
2. Select a requisition item if necessary.
3. Click .

• Description of the release strategy
• Releases of the purchasing document effected to date
• All release codes with which the purchasing document must be released before it reaches "final release" status

You can also display the release options and the possible combinations to achieve final release in the purchasing applications with the new interactive design (redesigned purchase order and requisition). You will find this information on the Release Strategy tab page at header level in the purchasing document in the case of overall release and at item detail level in the case of item-wise release.
