Review Workflow
Use
You can define a review workflow (R) for a workflow (A). This review workflow can be started by an authorized user from the graphical workflow display of a workflow that is running (A). Here, all data of workflow A is transferred to the review workflow. In the review workflow you can create attachments that can be seen in workflow A.
You can start the review workflow several times for a workflow.
Features
When starting a review workflow, the current content of the workflow container of workflow (A) is copied to the workflow container of the review workflow. Container elements with the same name and type must also be available in the workflow container of the review workflow. If there is no suitable container element for copying in the workflow container of the review workflow, the content of the container element is not transferred.
All modeling possibilities are available within the review workflow. The method
REVIEW.EXECUTE is available for creating attachments that are seen in the workflow (A).Activities
You create a review workflow in the same way as a standard workflow.
You have to set the Review workflow indicator on the Workflow settings tab page in the version dependent basic data of the review workflow. As a result, the element ReviewedWorkflow is added to the workflow container. When starting the review workflow from the graphical workflow log, this is automatically provided by the workflow system with a reference to the workflow to be monitored.
