Estimation of deductible revenue
The estimation of deductible revenue is obtained via the program ‘Calculation of annual deductible revenue’ (RPIGA0E0)
This program carries out an estimation of the deductible revenue of the selected workers and updates the relevant fields of the infotype 'Tax data' (0062) The data of this infotype are used in the payroll process to determine the withholdings for employment tax in the workers’ payroll.
Optionally, you can also include in the estimation the data of infotype 'additional income' (0090).
The estimation is carried out always towards the future, that is, both at the beginning of the year for the whole year and within the year for the rest of the year. The latter case arises when carrying out an adjustment of the employment tax rate.
For the estimation, the program RPIGA0E0 launches the payroll (program RPCALCE0) in simulation mode for all the periods to estimate, that is, taking into account all the payroll periods between the adjustment date and 31st December of the estimation year.
In the personnel management implementation guide and payroll all the necessary settings have been made for the correct running of the payroll.
The program updates the entrance fields of the group of ‘Compensations’ of the infotype 0062 with the system’s existing data.
In the estimation within the year, the process has two parts. One part ‘already settled’ carries the payroll results already known, and an ‘estimated’ part which is the result of the same estimation. The amounts which are updated in infotype 0062 constitute the sum of both parts. In this way, in the case of an adjustment, for example, the new annual value is the sum of the amounts already paid (settled part) and the result of the new estimate for the rest of the year (estimated part).

The program is based on the entries in the table ‘Estimation of annual revenue’ (V_T5E37) to determine what payroll concept keys (wage types) intervene in the estimation and how they do it.
Settled part:
To determine the settled part, the program takes into account the payroll items generated during the calculation by calculation rule EIRE (/1lA-Gross salary, /1lB-Fixed variables, /1lC-Variable variables, etc.). Since the amount already paid may be stored in wage types other than those used in the estimation, this rule generates, based on processing class 68, the wage types that the program RPIGA0E0 must read as ‘settled part’ during the estimation.
To fill the field ‘Social Insurance contributions’, the program estimates the SI contributions that must be paid from the adjustment date to the end of the year (estimated part) and adds them to the amount already paid during the year (settled part) in wage type /398.
Settled part:
To run estimation of the payments to be received by employees through the simulation of the payroll for each period, program RPIGA0E0 uses the payroll schema EIGA. Once the payroll simulation is finalized, the schema calls function EIGA0, which processes the payroll data obtained in accordance with the settings made in the customer schema for the regular payroll run.
In the case of specific payroll items whose value is unknown, the estimation includes valuation of the payroll results for the previous year, with the object of making a future prediction based on experience obtained in the past. To this end, the program RPIGA0E0 imports the payroll results that correspond exactly with the equivalent months of the previous year. That is, if the estimation is run for March to December, the payroll results exactly corresponding to the months from March to December of the previous year are imported. In this manner repeated months are not included in the observation interval.
You ill obtain access to the program via the Spain payroll menu, under Payroll ® Estimate deductible revenue.
In the program selection screen, enter the corresponding data in each field, according to the following information:
In the selection settings you introduce on one side the general data relative to the collective of effected employees, according to the standard criteria of the Human resources management programs: personnel number, personnel area, and so on.
Additionally, the program presents different groups of selection parameters for the entering of the specific data relevant to the process of estimation itself.
You will find detailed information in the F1 help of each field, as well as in the consultation note no. 0161969.
There are two types of execution log on offer.
· Interactive tree: After the execution a tree is displayed with the list of numbers of personnel processed successfully or rejected. Selecting the number of personnel, you can see the detailed amounts resulting from the simulation and/or reading of results already generated.
· List: the results of the estimation are shown in a flat list with the option of breaking down by period or limiting oneself to the total annual results. If the option is chosen to include records of the infotype 0090, a column is added to this effect.
· ‘Payroll log’: Although the program RPIGA0E0 has its own protocol, it might be of interest to analyze the payroll protocol of the payrolls run in simulation.
