Payroll Results Adjustment - Subtype TWEG
Definition
Subtype TWEG (Prior period gross adjustment) of Infotype 0221 (Payroll Results Adjustment) allows you to make positive adjustments to employees' payroll results.
When you make an adjustment with subtype TWEG, you simply need to specify the gross adjustment amount. The system calculates all taxes and taxable wages (technical wage types) during the payroll process.
Use
This subtype allows you to make adjustments to an employee's payroll results when you know the gross adjustment amount, but want the system to calculate the taxes. This is especially useful when making adjustments to imputed income.
Structure
The Infotype 0221, subtype TWEG screen allows you to enter the following information:
If you enter a check date that falls in the prior year and you have already begun running payroll for the current year, you cannot use the Start payroll function from the Infotype 0221 screen. You can either wait for the next regular payroll run or trigger the adjustment from the payroll driver screen using special run type C and the Payr.ID you specified for the entry on the infotype.
