Payroll Results Adjustment - Subtype 'blank'
Definition
Subtype 'blank' (Non-authorized manual check) of Infotype 0221 (Payroll Results Adjustment) allows you to make positive adjustments to employees' payroll results.
When you make an adjustment with subtype 'blank', you specify the positive adjustment amount and employee taxes. The system calculates the employer taxes and the taxable wages (technical wage types) during the payroll process.
Use
This subtype can be used to enter an adjustment for an employee when you know the gross adjustment amount and the employee taxes, but you want the system to calculate the employer taxes and technical wage types. This subtype is maintained either directly through Master Data maintenance, the Adjustments Workbench or through Off-Cycle Payroll.
Structure
The Infotype 0221, subtype 'blank' screen allows you to enter the following information:
If you enter a check date that falls in the prior year and you have already begun running payroll for the current year, you cannot use the Start payroll function from the Infotype 0221 screen. You can either wait for the next regular payroll run or trigger the adjustment from the payroll driver screen using special run type C and the Payr.ID you specified for the entry on the infotype.
