Use

The following programs are linked to the file extension R3F when they are installed:

They are in the ...\SAPforms\Bin directory and are configured in the SAPforms Helper.

R3F ( R/3 Form) is a file format to transfer workflow information from an SAP System to a form and vice versa. One of the two programs is launched each time you open a file with this extension. This happens, for example, when the appropriate attachment in a mail is opened or when the file is downloaded by the SAP frontend. The SAP Release determines which of the two programs is started.

Integration

You must configure the SAPforms Helper application if you do not want to store your SAPforms forms in the ...\SAPforms\Forms directory or in the active directory.

When a work item is executed by a SAPform form, the FORM.Process method supplies the name of the SAPforms form to the SAPforms Helper application. This is the name you maintained when you entered the task. The SAPforms Helper application then searches for this SAPforms form either in the active directory or in the ...\SAPforms\Forms directory.

Activities

To store your SAPforms forms in a directory other than ...\SAPforms\Forms\, proceed as follows:

  1. Start the SAPforms Helper. Start the WDFR3FH program in the . ..\SAPforms\Bin\. directory. In a standard installation using Microsoft Windows, choose Execute in the Windows start menu and enter WDFR3FH /a in the dialog box.
  2. The R3F-Interpreter - Administration dialog box appears.

  3. Enter the path where you want to store your SAPforms forms in the Form Path field and EXE in the Priority list.
  4. Choose OK.
