¡ You can use the drilldown reporting tool to tailor reports to your own needs and process them interactively. You can evaluate the report results graphically or transfer them to PC applications. The tool also allows you to link reports and organize them hierarchically in a report tree.
When you create a drilldown report, you can use one of the predefined reports and adapt it to fit your own requirements. In order to cater for additional requirements with regard to the formal drilldown report structure, the system enables you to define and save your own report templates.
You can also create your own "ad-hoc" reports. When you define reports in this way, you do not need to define forms.
¡
You can
display the data with the
SAP List
Viewer.
The link to the SAP List Viewer offers an alternative display tool to the standard drilldown report. You can display lists with all the characteristics in the leading column.
¡ The link to the front-end product inSight from arcplan enables you to present reports in an alternative graphical user interface.

You can transfer data from the Information System (TIS) to the Executive Information System (EIS). This is supported for the money market, foreign exchange, securities, derivatives and loans components, and has the following advantages:
¡ You can link to external interfaces using standard data procurement programs.
¡ You can set up reporting for position management
¡ You can vastly improve the performance for position reporting.
¡ You can determine average positions by storing position data.
¡ Planning functions are supported.
¡ You can carry out variance analyses (such as plan/actual comparisons).
¡ You can import external data from different data sources.
¡ You can improve performance using summarization levels

When you transfer data from the Information System area to the Executive Information System (EIS), you can also use the SAP List Viewer to print out the data in a list. This enables you to structure your data in a different way to a drilldown report. You can have several characteristics next to each other in one line, for example, or list different currencies underneath each other. You can also define your own layouts. The reports are also in the standard report trees delivered with the system.
