Use

By means of a manual call, you can add a new test date without affecting the normal scheduling. You can specify the required call date and package which should be due on this new date.

You can create a manual call, for example, if you added another storage condition to a stability study after the scheduling for the study was already triggered.

Procedure

  1. From the SAP Easy Access menu, choose Logistics ® Quality Management ® Stability Study ® Stability Planning ® Testing Schedule ® Scheduling.
  2. The initial screen for scheduling a maintenance plan (testing schedule) appears.

  3. Enter the key of the maintenance plan you want to schedule and then choose Continue.
  4. The screen for scheduling the maintenance plan appears.

  5. Choose Edit ® Manual call.
  6. A dialog box for entering a start date (manual call) appears.

  7. For the manual call, enter the calculated planned date of the test date that has already been called and then choose Continue.
  8. Another dialog box is displayed in which you can select the desired package for the test date.

  9. Select the corresponding package for the date that should be performed for the call date and then choose Continue.
  10. The selected package is copied and the system creates a new manual test date for the original planned date.

  11. Save the maintenance plan.

Inspection lots are created immediately by the system for all storage conditions that are due on this date.

Note

Since two inspection lots may now exist for a planned date and storage condition (that is, for the original date and the date of the manual call), you must Structure linkcancel the unneeded inspection lot. Only one uncancelled inspection lot should exist for each storage condition and test date. By cancelling the unneeded inspection lot, the system informs the scheduling function that no confirmation will posted for this lot. This inspection lot is considered to be completed.
