Use

The programs RSUMJITC01 and RSUMJITC02 are available for archiving and deleting summarized JIT calls. When archiving summarized JIT calls, the system deletes the header of the summarized JIT call and its items. Data that has been deleted cannot be reloaded in the system.

The archiving program selects the summarized JIT calls and records them in archiving files.

You can create a separate variant for the archiving run and optimize it using the following parameters, for example:

You can archive calls specifically for one plant.

The goods receipt date is recorded at header level for each summarized JIT call. The key date for archiving is calculated from the system date minus the residence time. If the goods receipt date of the summarized JIT call lies before or on this key date, you can archive the summarized JIT call.

You can define that only the summarized JIT calls whose header numbers lie in a specific interval are to be archived.

You can define that only the summarized JIT calls created for specific vendors are to be archived.

You use this parameter to control whether an archiving file is to be created. If you do not create an archiving file, the system only creates a statistic which corresponds to the statistic that is created when creating an archiving file. The system does not create an entry in the archive management and the deletion program is not accessed. You use this parameter to start a test run to determine what exactly was archived.

This parameter controls whether the automatically accessed deletion program is to run in the Test status.

Prerequisites

Procedure

  1. Choose Tools ® Administration ® Administration (Transaction SARA).
  2. The Archive Administration: Initial Screen appears.

  3. Enter PP_SUMJITC.
  4. Choose either Archive or Delete.

Either the screen entitled Archive Administration: Create Archive Files or Archive Administration: Execute Delete Program appears.

Enter the necessary data and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text. For more information, see also Archiving using ADK.

Result

The system creates one or several archive files.

The archiving program logs the process in the form of a list. On completion of the program, this list is either printed and/or saved in the spool according to your settings in the spool parameters.

You can access the processing log in the Job Overview (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text) by selecting the executed job and choosing Display spool list (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text). In the Spool list, you can select the appropriate spool order and choose Display (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text).
