Item Attributes
In addition to the general item attributes automatically assigned to an item through its info category, you can also define detailed characteristics and properties for specific items. You access item attributes by choosing Attributes in the item editor.
The following describes these attributes in detail:

Beta item |
Whether the item is to be used as a beta item, for example during a test phase You can evaluate items with this attribute separately at a later point in the test. For more information about how beta items are handled, see the information in Test Attributes. |
Difficulty |
Statistical value to be considered when items are evaluated according to a specific frequency of use Enter the value in the text line for this attribute. |
Validity |
Enter the value in the text line for this attribute. |
Item total correlation |
Empirically determined correlation of item/entire test. Enter the value in the text line for this attribute. |
Item weight |
Positive whole number score of the item to be used when evaluating the complete test The default item weight is 1. |
Item feedback |
Feedback text the test participant can view for this item When you click on the text field for the Item feedback attribute, a dialog box appears in which you can create and edit the feedback text. |
Media description |
Description of media image, that shows up with item Drag and drop a media object into this field to create a link between item and media |
