Definition

A type of routing that comprises of a series of operations that recur frequently. It is used to create a rate routing. This means that the quantity to be produced and the time to do can be defined, with the result that you can define the production rate.

Use

Reference rate routings are included in rate routings to reduce the effort involved in creating a rate routing. It cannot be used directly in production.

Structure

A reference rate routing has the same structure as a routing. You cannot assign a material to be produced to a reference rate routing. It can have neither parallel nor alternative sequences.
