Definition

You use this infotype to record the data required to create a Structure link work and remuneration confirmation for sick pay and maternity pay or to reverse a confirmation that has already been created.

When you create a record for this infotype, the system uses the date that you stored in the Last workday field of the Work and Remuneration Confirmation screen as the start and end date of this record.

Default Values for the Infotype

When you create a record for this infotype, you can let the system provide you with default values for individual fields. To do this, enter a date in the Time period field in the Maintain HR Master Data screen. If you then choose Create, the system reads the employee’s personal calendar for absences that occur after the specified date. These absences must be a valid reason for creating a work and remuneration confirmation for the employees. At the same time the system determines in view V_T5A4Q (Characteristics of Attendance/Absence Types) how the individual absences are valuated.

Example  Example

The employee Hans Hofer’s personal calendar contains the following absence symbols:

KR KR KR KR K4 K4 K4 K4

As long as the absence symbol KR (Illness) is recorded, you do not need to create a work and remuneration confirmation. However, if the calendar contains the absence symbol K4 (Illness, quarterly earnings), in some cases, a work and remuneration confirmation must be created for the employee.

Caution The following are prerequisites for getting useful default values:

Use

You can use the data that you record in this infotype to create data records and then transfer these to the regional health insurance fund [GKK] using Structure link Electronic Data Exchange (ELDA). To create data records for ELDA, choose ELDA-Record and Save.

You can also create test data records for the ELDA. The health insurance agency then checks them. To create test records, choose Process ® Test ELDA Record.

The system writes the created (productive) data records and test data records to the table Created Data Records (T5A1O). To copy the data records stored here to a data medium, you use the report RPUELDA0. The test data records are indicated accordingly.

Structure

In order to identify the individual record types of the ELDA, the infotype is divided into different subtypes. Each subtype corresponds to exactly one ELDA record type. The following subtypes have been set up in the standard:

Subtype

ELDA record type

70

Work and remuneration confirmation – sick pay compensation

71

Reverse work and remuneration confirmation – sick pay compensation

75

Work and remuneration confirmation – maternity pay

76

Reverse work and remuneration confirmation – maternity pay

Transfer status

The transfer status field is automatically updated by the system. If you create a new record for this infotype, the transfer status is set to new (1). If you edit this record manually, the status of transfer is set to edited (2). After you have created a ELDA data record, the transfer status is set to Data record ELDA created (3).

If an infotype record has the transfer status 3, you cannot send the notification again.

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Employee/Employer

When you save a record for this infotype, the system automatically saves the additional data on the employee and the employer in the background. The data is stored together with the infotype record. This way, you can reverse all data sent in the notification at the same time in case of a reversal of a work and remuneration confirmation.

The system saves the following employer data under employer:
