Use

You use a focus to collect product structures or individual objects from an iPPE product structure that you wish to edit for a special project or for making development studies.

Prerequisites

You are in the iPPE workbench.

Procedure

  1. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
  1. Select the following data in the loading area of the iPPE workbench.
  1. Enter a name for the focus.
  2. Select the required type.
  3. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

    4. The system displays the header data for the focus in the detail area.

  4. Enter a description.
  5. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text to save the focus.

Result

You have created a focus. You can fill the focus with objects from one or more product structures to develop them in the focus context.
