Communication between the SAPforms form and the SAP System can take place both online using RFC (SAP GUI), offline using mail, and using SAP MAPI. The SAPforms Designer provides the following plug-ins for this purpose:

Plug-in for communication using the SAP MAPI Service Provider.

Plug-in for synchronous communication using Remote Function Call (RFC).
