Procedure documentation Optional Step 3: Defining Exceptions for Disclosures  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

As a third and optional step in administering disclosures, you can define exceptions for which no disclosures are to be inserted into e-mails and fax documents. This is useful, for example, for technical users (such as ddic), which are used for internal communication and for which the activities are based in the technical area rather than in the area of business correspondence.

Prerequisites

You have defined a standard text and possibly other disclosure texts, and now want to except certain users from these in this step.

Procedure

To define exceptions for disclosures, proceed as follows:

...

       1.      Call transaction SODIS.

The disclosures maintenance interface appears. The folder Disclosures for External Communication is on the left of the screen. This folder contains the subfolder Documents and the nodes Standard Disclosures and No Disclosure.

       2.      Switch to change mode and choose the No Disclosure node.

The Assignment subwindow appears on the right of the screen. You can define exceptions using users, company addresses, e-mail domains, and fax numbers here.

       3.      Save your entries.

Result

No disclosures are inserted into e-mails or fax documents for the specified senders. These exceptions could be useful for automated messages that are sent by certain senders.
