Use
So that certain MIMEs that are referenced in the layout source code of the BSP application can be replaced at runtime by MIME objects of your choice, you must first include the respective objects from the MIME repository in the theme object list. Afterwards, for each MIME object to be replaced, you only need to import the respective object from the file system in your PC.
Prerequisites
The theme has already been created.
Procedure
The Web Application Builder switches automatically to the theme display.
The Web Application Builder opens a dialog window in which you can choose the MIME objects.
You can use the multiple selection function by pressing the keys
CTRL or SHIFT.The Web Application Builder includes the selected objects of the MIME repository in the Redefined Objects file in the current theme.
The standard dialog box for object selection from the (local) file directory appears.
The object in the MIME repository is now overwritten (redefined) by the imported object. You can check this by displaying the preview of the MIME object. To do this, double-click the MIME object. The preview (in the lower section of the theme display) should now include the imported object.
Using the Change function in the context menu of the MIME object, you can make the changes to MIME objects directly in the assigned Editor.
Result
The system assigns a separate PHIO for the imported object. This allows you to redefine the references so that it is possible to display another physical MIME object using the same URL.
The changes take effect on the BSP application pages only when the theme has been explicitly assigned to the application concerned. If this assignment has not been entered so far, enter it now subsequently. To do so, proceed as described in the section
Assigning Themes to BSP Applications.
