Use

You can enter the variants for the configurable materials and state which alternative explosion is effective in which location for which usage. This information is used for the configuration simulation and for the explosion.

Prerequisites

You are in change mode in the iPPE workbench.

You have created an access node/structure node.

Procedure

  1. In the iPPE workbench, load the node for which you wish to maintain accesses.
  2. In the detail area, choose the Accesses tab page.

    3. All variants for the node are displayed in the first column. The Alternative and Plant fields are empty. In the Usage field, the system proposes a usage in accordance with the settings in iPPE Customizing.

  3. Enter the alternative and plant for the required variant and specify the usage.
  4. Choose Copy Entry and save your entries.

Note

For Customizing for the usage, choose Production ® Basic Data ® Integrated Product and Process Engineering ® iPPE Product Structure Administration ® Maintain Settings for Access Object.
