Use

In the Customizing for correspondence, you have assigned a printer under Define Printer Options. This function enables you to select an alternative printer. This may be necessary, for example, if the default printer is out of order.

Note

Entries in this table should only be temporary.

Activities

  1. Choose New entries.
  2. In the From column, select the printer to be replaced, and in the To column enter the replacement printer.
  3. Save your entries.

The correspondence will be diverted to the printer defined here as long as this entry remains in the table.

You should delete the temporary entry as soon as the designated printer is available again. Position the cursor on the appropriate line and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Delete.
