It is also used to save data on the participant’s PC. All the participants, who have been notified, can then access the published folder (at the same time if necessary) and download it to their PCs.

Prerequisites

You have created a configuration folder.

Procedure

  1. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The Validity dialog box appears.

  1. Enter a validity date for the folder, and select a CEP scenario. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
  2. The system generates your controlled object as an XML file.

  3. If documents exist, the Select Original Application Files dialog box appears.

You can select which of the original application files attached to documents should be saved with XML file. If necessary, a This graphic is explained in the accompanying text signifies that an original application file does not exist in the document repository. These original application files are ignored when the XML file is generated.

After you have selected all the required files, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying textContinue.

Result

The folder is published and is now displayed in the Object screen area as XML configuration folder with all the assigned objects. The next step is to notify the participants by e-mail. The participants can then download the published folder from the server specified by the URL in the e-mail. See Notification of Participants
